A group of our Year 5 and 6 pupils had an amazing opportunity to represent Holly Grove at a multi-sport event hosted by EDA Secondary School—and what a fantastic evening it was!

The children showed incredible perseverance, teamwork, and determination, while also having lots of fun trying out a variety of sports—some completely new to them!

Here’s what they got up to:

• Table Tennis: Quick reactions and great rallies!
• Archery: A test of focus and precision.
• Boccia: A brand-new challenge for us, but we soon got the hang of it. The boys and girls faced off in a gripping match—the girls won, but only just! Fantastic sportsmanship all round.
• Badminton: Practising with the shuttlecock before enjoying some exciting games.
• Volleyball: Tricky at first, but the team worked hard and mastered the basics by the end.

What made the event even more special was seeing some of the sports leaders who were ex-Holly Grove pupils—a lovely reminder of how far our children can go!
