Year 5 & 6 Create Tudor Rose Tiles in Clay Art Session
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils recently enjoyed a fantastic art session exploring clay as a creative medium. The challenge? To design and craft their very own Tudor Rose tile!
The children demonstrated an impressive range of skills throughout the process. From carefully shaping and sculpting the clay to using new tools and techniques, they showed real creativity and attention to detail. Once their tiles were formed, they patiently waited for them to dry before adding vibrant paint to bring their designs to life.
This activity required patience, precision, and imagination—and the results were truly stunning. Every tile was unique, reflecting the children’s hard work and artistic flair.
Well done to all our talented young artists for producing such beautiful pieces. Great work, Year 5 and 6!
