Year 3/4 Trip to science museum 2026

We had an amazing day at the Science Museum in Birmingham! We went on the train which was great as so many children had never been on one before. New Street Station was eye opening for a lot of them! Then off to the science museum. 

We have spent the morning learning about Science from the past !

We saw old steam trains, sewage pumping engines and high speed cars and motorbikes.

We explored robots, futuristic inventions and exciting developments in the world of Science!

Just before lunch, we watched a luminous light Science show where we played a game show about making or faking light, shadow and colours.

We even had time in the outside science playground exploring lots of scientific concepts. It was great fun! 

The children were very well behaved especially as it was such a hot day! Thankfully the building was air conditioned!
