Year 3/4 Maths: Exploring Greater Than and Less Than
In this week’s Maths lessons, our Year 3/4 pupils have been developing their understanding of comparing numbers — learning how to identify whether numbers are greater than or less than a given amount.
To support their learning, the children used manipulatives, which really helped them visualise and explore number relationships in a hands-on way. These tools made abstract concepts more concrete and gave pupils the confidence to tackle challenges with enthusiasm.
It was fantastic to see the children engaged and focused, using practical resources to deepen their understanding. Well done, Year 3/4 — great mathematical thinking in action!
