Our Year 3/4 boys football team played a determined and spirited match against Lichfield Cathedral School this week. It was a tough fixture, but our team gave it their all from the very first whistle to the last.

Despite their excellent teamwork and effort, the result didn’t go our way on this occasion. However, the boys held their heads high throughout and continued to play with energy, positivity, and commitment.

Most importantly, they truly lived out our Torch Values of Cooperation and Respect. They supported one another, communicated well as a team, and showed great sportsmanship both on and off the pitch.

The resilience they demonstrated—never giving up and pushing right to the end—was a real credit to them. Their team spirit was fantastic to see and made us incredibly proud.

Well done to every player who represented our school so brilliantly.
