Year 2 overnight stay in school 2026

We had our first overnight stay with Year 2 this year! Most of the children in Year 1 and Year 2 returned after school at 6pm to play some forest school games and have snacks with us. At about 8pm Year 1 left to go home but Year 2 stayed! They had their sleeping bags, even some roll out mattresses! We played some more games, had a talent contest and watch a movie. Then it was time to get ready for bed! We even managed a pillow fight!!! The next morning some of the children were up earlier than others!! (The boys!!) we had a lovely breakfast before moms and dads collected. What a great experience, for some of our children it was the first time staying away from home! Well done everyone and thank you to the staff who stayed!!
