Reception class have made a fantastic start to their woodwork sessions as they begin creating their very own vehicles. The children have been learning how to safely use real tools, starting with cutting the wood to the correct size and then sanding it smooth.

They used their fine motor skills brilliantly while sanding the wood and took great care with each step of the process. The children also wore protective goggles to keep their eyes safe, showing excellent awareness of safety rules in the workshop area.
