Pumpkin Patch Fun in Reception’s New Outdoor Learning Space!

Our Reception class has been enjoying their brand-new outdoor learning space, which has been magically transformed into a wonderful pumpkin patch this autumn!

The children have loved exploring the area, which features a pumpkin shop, a variety of real pumpkins, and even tractor rides with Farmer Daniel—a huge hit with everyone! The space has been buzzing with excitement as the children took part in fun, hands-on activities like weighing pumpkins, role-playing in the shop, and learning all about how pumpkins grow.

This immersive experience has sparked curiosity, encouraged imaginative play, and supported early maths and communication skills in a fun and engaging way. It’s been a joy to see the children learning through play in such a creative and inspiring environment.
