Nursery Shines in Annual Dragon Dance Celebration 2026

Our Nursery children impressed the whole school this week as they performed the much‑loved annual Dragon Dance during assembly. It was a truly special moment—not just for our youngest pupils, but for the many older children watching who fondly remembered their turn performing the dance when they were in Nursery.
As part of their celebrations for the Year of the Horse, children in EYFS have been taking part in a range of creative and engaging activities. They have enjoyed:
- Making animal masks representing the year they were born
- Using chopsticks and tweezers to develop fine motor skills while picking up noodles and gold coins
- Exploring cultural traditions and learning through play
The week has been full of excitement, creativity, and hands-on learning. We are incredibly proud of our youngest learners for their enthusiasm and confidence. Well done, Nursery!
