Nursery Forest School: Rainy Day Fun and Teamwork!

Nursery had a brilliant time at Forest School this morning — even though the rain and chilly weather meant we had to stay under the canopy in our outdoor area, it didn’t stop the fun! Wrapped up in our puddle suits and coats, the children were ready for adventure.

We began by talking about the Forest School rules, making sure everyone knew how to stay safe and do the right thing. Then we played a lively game of Duck Duck Goose, which brought lots of giggles and excitement!

Everyone had a turn on the Forest School swing, which was a big hit, and we also enjoyed playing in the sand pit and mud kitchen. The children showed fantastic teamwork, taking turns and sharing beautifully throughout the session.

We even had our snack outside, sitting together in the Forest School circle, which made the experience even more special and added to the sense of adventure.

It was a lovely morning of outdoor play, learning, and cooperation. Well done, Nursery — you didn’t let the weather dampen your spirits!
