New Buddy Bench

We are delighted to share the arrival of a wonderful new feature in our school playground—a Buddy Bench, designed to encourage friendship, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing among our pupils.

This colourful and inviting bench was expertly crafted by Cherry Orchard Garden Services (COGS) and generously funded by the Burntwood Rotary Club. We are incredibly grateful for their support in helping us bring this meaningful project to life.

The Buddy Bench provides a special place where children can sit if they are feeling lonely or would like someone to talk to. It acts as a gentle signal to others that a friend is needed, encouraging kindness, empathy, and connection during playtimes.

The Buddy Bench is a valuable addition to our ongoing efforts to ensure that every pupil feels safe, supported, and part of our school community.
