Internet Safety Week 2026 Explore Artificial Intelligence During Internet Safety Week
As part of Internet Safety Week, our children took part in the BBC Live Lesson, which focused on the fascinating and fast‑growing world of artificial intelligence. The session introduced pupils to what AI is, how it works, and where we see it in everyday life — from smart speakers to online searches and digital assistants.
The children were highly engaged throughout as they learned not only about the opportunities AI offers, but also the importance of using technology safely and responsibly. The lesson encouraged them to:
- Think critically about the information AI provides
- Ask questions and recognise that not everything online is accurate
- Understand how AI tools should be used safely
- Build confidence in navigating the digital world
This was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to explore new technology in a supported environment, helping them develop essential skills for the future. The session sparked lots of thoughtful discussion and reminded them of the importance of staying safe, smart, and sensible online.
A brilliant learning experience for Internet Safety Week!
