Holly Grove’s Year 5/6 Football Team Kick Off Their First Competition!

We are so proud of our Year 5/6 mixed football team, who recently took part in their very first football competition, playing against other primary schools from Burntwood and Lichfield.

The team showed fantastic determination and teamwork throughout the tournament. They played three exciting matches, finishing with a draw in one game, a brilliant win in another, and a narrow loss in the third. Every player gave it their all, and their sportsmanship and team spirit were outstanding.

It was a wonderful experience for the children, and they represented Holly Grove with pride, enthusiasm, and resilience. A huge well done to all involved—we’re incredibly proud of you!
