Holly Grove’s Rudolph Run Raises Nearly £1,500 for St Giles Hospice!

We are absolutely delighted to share the fantastic success of our Rudolph Run in support of St Giles Hospice at the end of last term. On the penultimate day of school, every single child—right from Nursery through to Year 6—took part in this festive fundraiser, helping to support a wonderful local charity that provides care for local people.

Despite the chilly winter weather, our spirits were sky-high as we headed out in our antlers and red noses. Younger children enjoyed energetic laps around the playground, while our KS2 children took on the challenge of two full laps of the school grounds—heading out of the Windsor Close gate and continuing all the way down to the Ironstone Road gate before looping back.

Even lots of our teachers joined in the fun, making it a truly whole-school celebration of community, kindness, and resilience!

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our children, families, and staff, we raised an incredible £1,140, and with Gift Aid this total rose to almost £1,500! This is a remarkable achievement, and we are so proud of everyone who took part or contributed.

A huge well done to everyone involved!
Supporting St Giles Hospice means supporting a very important local charity that does vital work for local people—and we are thrilled to play our part.

Thank you, Holly Grove Family. You’ve made a real difference.
