Last night, our Key Stage 2 Girls’ Football Team proudly represented Holly Grove in the Lichfield and Burntwood Schools Final—and what a performance it was!

The girls played three thrilling matches, showing incredible teamwork and determination throughout:

• Match 1: A hard-fought battle against Christchurch Primary ended in a narrow 2–1 defeat.
• Match 2: The team bounced back brilliantly, securing a 1–0 victory over Fulford Primary.
• Match 3: In their final game against St. Michael’s, the girls gave it everything, but were eventually beaten 3–1.

Despite the challenges, their effort and spirit were rewarded with third place overall in this competitive tournament.

We couldn’t be prouder of their resilience, skill, and sportsmanship. Well done, girls—you were amazing!
