At Holly Grove, creativity is thriving thanks to our Key Stage 2 Art Club, which runs every lunchtime for children from Year 3 to Year 6. Led by the talented Mrs Whiting, this completely free and voluntary club gives pupils the chance to explore their artistic side through drawing and experimenting with different techniques.

It’s no surprise that so many children love to take part! The club isn’t just about having fun—it also opens doors to exciting opportunities. Mrs Whiting encourages pupils to enter various competitions, including the Lichfield District Art Competition, where Holly Grove was proud to be one of the winning schools. Our artwork was even displayed in Lichfield City Centre, showcasing the incredible talent of our young artists.

One enthusiastic pupil shared:
“I love Art Club because I can just draw quietly in my own little world if I want to—and that’s okay. Or I can join in with others!”
