Celebrating Mental Health Day 2025
At Holly Grove, we believe that mental wellbeing is just as important as physical health. This year, we marked World Mental Health Day 2025 with a joyful and meaningful week of activities designed to promote mindfulness, happiness, and emotional wellbeing across our school community.
We ended our week was our uplifting Happiness Torch Assembly, where every child and staff member came together dressed in bright yellow to symbolise hope, positivity, and support for mental health awareness. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and a strong sense of unity as we passed our symbolic torch of happiness from class to class.
Throughout the week, pupils engaged in a variety of mindfulness and wellbeing activities, including:
- Yoga sessions to help us stretch, breathe, and relax.
- Guided meditation to encourage calm and focus.
- Dance brain breaks to energize our bodies and minds.
- Peer massage to promote kindness and connection.
- Soothing music during morning activities to create a peaceful start to the day.
- Forest School adventures to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors.
- Extra outdoor time to play, explore, and unwind in the fresh air.
It was a truly special week that reminded us all of the importance of taking care of our mental health and supporting one another. Thank you to our wonderful staff, pupils, and families for making Mental Health Week 2025 such a success!
