Archery Team Shines at Chase Terrace Academy Competition!

Our fantastic archery team took part in an exciting competition at Chase Terrace Academy last night, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
The team was made up of a mixed group of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils, many of whom were trying archery for the very first time. To see them step forward with such enthusiasm and confidence was truly wonderful—and to be taking part in a real competition on their first attempt made the experience even more special.
Throughout the event, our pupils achieved lots of high scores, with several children scoring 10 points at least once. Every single member of the team even managed to achieve a bullseye during the competition—an impressive accomplishment for both new and experienced archers alike!
The event ended with a fun and lively “Robin Hood” style challenge, where pupils aimed to land their arrows inside a hoop to claim victory. It was a brilliant way to finish an action‑packed evening.
Parents of the children who took part told us how much their children loved the experience and how excited they were to try something new.
Well done to all our archers—we are incredibly proud of you!
